The Indo-German Training Course in Gynecological Endoscopic Surgery was started in 1990 and we are proud of our 30+ successful years of training sessions. The Kiel School of Gynecological Endoscopy has been involved in the development of techniques and systems and instruments for Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy for many years.

Headed earlier by Prof. Mettler, followed by Thoralf Schollmeyer and now under the leadership of Ibrahim Alkatout, it has been the pioneer center in the field of Endoscopy.
We believe that virtual simulation, cadaver anatomy demonstrations, interactive video sessions and live surgery with internationally known faculty will help in achieving greater insight in the field of endoscopic surgery. Intensive training on simulators, robots and conventional trainers in dry and wet lab will be provided complementing lectures and video seminars.
